How to get your nominations approved quickly

In order of how likely they are to be the reason I am skipping your fandom until I get back on the computer:

  • Not all tags are disambiguated. Please don't pick AO3 canonicals if they don't happen to have "(Name of Fandom)" anyway.
  • "No Characters" has brackets, and/or "Original Character(s)" doesn't. I really don't expect anyone else to be this picky, but I want it to be consistent, and it's easiest to fix at the point of approval. Trying to do it on smartphone, though, has led to me clicking the wrong thing more often than not. (There are a few fandoms I approved early on that don't follow this; I will be fixing them up at some point, but that's a much faffier process so I don't want to add more to the list to be done that way.)
  • Either or both of Original/No Characters is missing. I am happy to add these but that's again a computer-only job.
  • Tiny tiny typo things, like one of your disambiguations is missing the closing parenthesis.
  • I actually do have questions, and am waiting to put together a clarifications post.

Just to repeat: you don't *have* to do any of these things, but they will get your nominations approved faster if you do. It may seem surprising that I can type all this on my phone but not make tiny fixes, but DW post/comment boxes are much bigger targets for my clumsy fingers than the little ones on the AO3 approval interface.
