Tag set progress
I've made some inroads into nominated tags today; please be patient if I still haven't made it to yours. A full queries post will go up around this time tomorrow, at which point I hope to have approved everything that I don't have questions about.
I'll carry on poking at the tag set for a little while longer today, but I did just want to flag up at this stage that I am seeing a fairly large number of fandoms (probably at least a quarter of those remaining unapproved) which, as they stand, will end up being rejected. The minimal set of tags for a fandom to be approved is:
I'm also seeing a number of tags for what seem to be (or are even stated within the tag as being) AU scenarios. Unless a given AU exists within canon, it is not within the scope of worldbuildingex. If you have nominated such tags, please be proactive in providing evidence for the existence of the AU within canon.
ETA: I've just seen a couple of tags awaiting approval in already approved fandoms disappear, presumably deleted by their nominators. For what it's worth, in the very few instances where I've left tags in this state, it's generally because two different nominators have put in very similar tags and I'm planning to ask on the next queries post whether they can be folded together, not because there's anything "wrong" with them.

Just so I'm 100% clear, are you saying that you'd prefer all the tags that I can see on your noms page for AMT to actually appear under Video Games? If so, I think in this specific circumstance I'll probably duplicate rather than move them, as other people who might want them for AMT could have seen that they were already there and thus used their slots for other tags.

However, I also realize that it's probably impossible to get 100% response from all the nominators on this so I understand if you are reluctant to make the change unilaterally. In that case, you can just leave my nominations as they are, and I (and anyone else who sees things of interest in others' nominations) will have to use two slots to cover all requests and offers.

The approach to fandom tags is rather different in worldbuildingex than most other exchanges, because they are used to specify the extent of canon material that the request/offer is based on. So with Dragon Age, the Video Games tag is for worldbuilding based entirely on material from the games, whereas the AMT tag would potentially include the books, comics, etc. as well. (I would be happy to fold the two sets of noms together if all nominators came forward saying they found that desirable*, but there's at least four different sets of nominations here, so I'm working from the assumption that the choice of different tags was deliberate.)
*ETA: however, I'd only do so after noms closed, in case any further nominators wanted to add non-game material to AMT.
In more general terms, fandoms "overlapping" with each other is a feature, not a bug in this particular tag set, and it's absolutely fine for people to request/offer multiple variants on the same canon.
If in the end this does make a difference to which of the two tags you'd prefer to have your noms under, let me know.
