Tag set now closed
The tag set is now closed for nominations. Just in case anyone was literally just about to submit and got caught out, I will grant a 15-minute amnesty - comment on this post before 2210 UTC with the tags that didn't make it and I will add them manually. ETA: amnesty window now closed.
Clean up
Once any last minute tags have been dealt with, I will move into tag set clean up mode.
Please check your own nominations (and, if you're feeling especially helpful, any other fandoms in the tag set you know) for issues such as misspellings, inconsistencies, etc. If you find any, please comment here to let me know. As in previous years, I intend to create a spreadsheet version of the tag set which might be a bit easier to navigate; in the process, I should be able to spot issues like: duplicated tags (either migrated between fandoms or lingering ones from the batch of tags that got doubled up between fandoms); fandoms with missing default character tags; fandoms with inconsistent/missing disambiguations; etc. However, feel free you're welcome to point those out as well so I can get ahead.
Assuming no unexpected hiccups in sorting out the tag set, sign ups should open on time at 2155 UTC on Friday 18th (and may possibly start a little earlier than that if the stars align).
ETA: You may spot a few tags with extra bits of disambiguation that might seem unnecessary - this is because the original versions of those tags were "wandering" (appearing in fandoms they shouldn't) and changing them to the new versions prevented this.
Rejections and Adjustments
For the record, the following were rejected since the last post:
and the following tags have been adjusted, either following earlier discussion or because they were nominated within the last 24 hours and I made a judgement call:

Rejections and Adjustments
For the record, the following were rejected since the last post:
- White Collar and X-Men - All Media Types and all character tags under them, because neither fandom had worldbuilding tags nominated
- The Reluctant Widow - Georgette Heyer and all character tags under it, because no evidence was submitted for the only worldbuilding tag after several requests (there were also no default character tags)
- Star Trek: The Next Generation (Movies) because the relevant tags were folded into the main TNG fandom, per discussion with the nominator
- Malcolm Reed under Star Trek: Discovery as I can't find any convincing evidence for assuming he would still be alive by the time of the Discovery series
and the following tags have been adjusted, either following earlier discussion or because they were nominated within the last 24 hours and I made a judgement call:
- In Chrono Trigger, WB: Janus' early life especially with his magic differing (Chrono Trigger) has been replaced with WB: Life in Zeal (Chrono Trigger) and WB: post-game quest to rescue Crono's mother and/or the cats (Chrono Trigger) has been replaced with WB: Ripple effects from the defeat of Lavos (Chrono Trigger) (per here)
- In The Last Witch Hunter (2015), I've turned WB: Magical levels (Last Witch Hunter) into a more general WB: Magic (Last Witch Hunter) tag as I can't find any evidence for a specific idea of "levels" in this canon's treatment of magic when searching online

One last request: as the nominator of 'WB: Knighthood in Westeros (ASOIAF)', that tag is a near duplicate of 'WB: Knightly traditions and practices (ASOIAF)'. I totally missed that when nominating. Would it be possible to delete it?
ETA: still in the same fandom, 'WB: Religion (ASOIAF)' and 'WB: Religions of Westeros (ASOIAF)' are very similar, though I say this only as a potential offerer and I don't know if the nominator of 'Religions of Westeros' specifically would like to avoid other regions. 'The Grand Maester Conspriacy' is also misspelled.
Thank you again :D

(And that last tag is clearly cursed, that's twice I've mistyped it while "correcting" it ...)

Any or No Characters (Captive Prince)
Original Character(s) (Captive Prince)
There may not be time and fair enough if you see no need, but I'm puzzled by 'WB: The Future (Chalion Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold)' and would love to see that clarified.
Discworld - Terry Pratchett
-Not sure this is actually a problem, more of a "huh", but I'm a little uncertain how Polly "Ozzer" Perks can be requested with the worldbuilding tags. Was WB: Monsters intended? That's the only one that seems safe to me. She doesn't seem to match the Witch tags, as she never intersects with the witches in canon, and the Death connection is possible but tenuous.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians & Related Fandoms - All Media Types is missing:
Any or No Characters (Percy Jackson AMT)
Original Character(s) (Percy Jackson AMT)
I'm not in the fandom so this may be 100% fine, but I was confused by the character tag "The Court in King's Landing (ASOIAF)" in A Song of Ice and Fire - George R. R. Martin. Is this a group character tag that refers to a very specific group of individuals that are not/minimally individually distinguished? Or is something like "Original member of Court in King's Landing" meant?

As to the more specific queries:
I took "the Future" for the Chalion Saga to be wanting to see how the world ends up at some later point (or does the whole thing end in an apocalypse that would preclude that? I'm not familiar with that canon).
For the Discworld, I'm going to take a stance somewhere in between "people can request/offer combinations of tags that work for them" and "working out how to make the characters and worldbuilding intersect can spark creativity".
On the ASOIAF, that was a late-submitted tag that I very nearly did ask for clarification on, but decided that the nominator seemed to know what they wanted; it definitely seemed to me to imply hangers on that are shown/implied to be there but not really distinguished within canon. (There are a number of other group and group-like tags in various fandoms.)

One thing that's tripping me up is that Chalion consists of 1 novel set at point 1, a series of novellas set a hundred or so years after point 1, and the two 'main' novels set a thousand years after that. So I guess we're talking about the "future" after Curse of Chalion and Paladin of Souls, but I feel that "the future after Penric Saga" is not entirely ruled out.
Eh, anyway, I won't offer it but I hope the nominator has fun with it.

I apologize for the unclear phrasing.

I think the tag is fine as is, but as currently phrased it is rather broad. If you did have a particular aspect of the future in mind, I'm happy to change it to something more specific if you want (and if you get back to me about it before sign ups open in about 12 hours or so). As it stands, you could obviously explain what you were thinking of in your optional details, but anyone who matched you on that tag would be within their rights to write a very different sort of future (e.g. maybe only a few decades into the future, or several millennia) under the principle of ODAO.

(Thanks for replying quickly - you have good timing: I've just got back online and that was the last remaining query. So now I can open sign ups ...)

is missing:
Any or No Characters (Doctor Who (2005))
Original Character(s) (Doctor Who (2005))
Supergirl (TV 2015)
is missing:
Any or No Characters (Supergirl TV 2015)
Original Character(s) (Supergirl TV 2015)
And, not sure how important this is now, but "WB: the Xenosexual Scene" is missing a disambig tag - I assume it should be WB: the Xenosexual Scene (Supergirl TV 2015).
Westworld (TV)
is missing
Original Character(s) (Westworld TV)
K: Christmas 1944 (Side Story) has inconsistent disambig tags - noting to be thorough but I assume this is OK; they don't seem necessarily to have migrated from K (Anime).
