Unmatchable participants (ETA: there aren't any)

The first stage of matching has run (very quickly! :D). Unfortunately, this year a fairly significant number of participants do not have anyone to create for based on their initial set of offers.

I have emailed all the people affected. Please check the email associated with your AO3 account. Given the relatively large numbers, I will be giving people 48 hours to respond to this email before regretfully deciding that I will have to delete their sign ups to allow assignments to be generated.

If everyone involved responds promptly, assignments may go out earlier than that, but don't expect them before Thursday.

ETA: Whoooops, I was wrong! Everyone is matchable as a creator, there just need to be some double assignments and initial pinch hits to make things work. I forgot that AO3 just doesn't show categories on the matching screen if there's nothing in them so got mixed up between "No Recipient" and "No Potential Recipient". You can disregard any email I sent earlier. Apologies for any unnecessary alarm, and thanks to the people who responded quickly and made me realise the mistake.

I clearly need some sleep so I won't try to finish matching immediately, but assignments should be out within 24 hours.

Apologies again for the earlier mix up about matching. I have regenerated a new set of matches, so if you did receive an email in error, please don't assume that you have been double assigned.

Assignments are now out; you should receive an email from AO3 shortly, or you can check your Assignments page on AO3 itself. I am delighted that despite the ever-busier exchange calendar we have a few more participants than last year. I hope you all enjoy creating your gifts, whether you are a returning worldbuilder from last year or this is your first time doing this exchange.

If there is a problem with your assignment, especially in terms of matching, please let me know ASAP, either by dreamwidth DM or via email to worldbuildingmod@gmx.com - the only exception to this is if you are concerned about your recipient having a locked/placeholder letter. Since the original "assignments out by" date was 1st Feb, I intend to wait until 2nd Feb before worrying about these. (You are welcome to contact me about it if you want, but I won't take any action until then.)

There are six initial pinch hits, which will be posted within the next few hours.
