The vast majority of assignments are now in; thank you to everyone, especially the pinch hitters. All remaining open assignments are either post-deadline pinch hits, or one of a handful that I have given a further extension to. I will check all of these at 2155 UTC on Wednesday (originally advertised as the due date for the most recent batch of pinch hits) but please do get in touch if you need a bit of flexibility beyond that point.
Overall, I am currently feeling optimistic about the collection opening on time at 2155 UTC on Friday 22nd (just over four days away). You can edit as much as you like between now and then, but please note that over the next couple of days, I will be checking for the most obvious sorts of placeholders/unfinished works; in general, your work at this stage should at least pass the "bus test" (if you were involved in an accident tomorrow such that you were unable to get back online, would your gift at least meet the minimum requirements?). If you think I might mistake a deliberate choice you have made for evidence of the work being a placeholder (the risk of this seems to me to be highest for works further over to the in-universe meta side of the equation), please email me at worldbuildingmod@gmx.com to explain.
The collection will remain open for treating until the anon period ends at 2155 UTC on the 29th.
