I nominated both B5 and Star Trek (with Vulcans as the characters), and I deliberately chose both as umbrella fandoms. With Star Trek, all the characters are TOS/AOS, but the thing I am most interested in is Vulcan culture specifically and would be happy to receive fic with Vulcans in any canon era. Also, Vulcans are long lived, so Spock while Spock is a TOS/AOS character, he's still alive and running around during TNG/DS9/VOY eras.
