As of this post, there are just over 24 hours left until the assignment deadline.

I will do my best to approve works as they come in, but I have learned the hard way not to try to do that sort of thing on mobile, so it will be restricted to when I can get to the computer.

How do you convert UTC to time zones? Or is it supposed to be be EDT? I've been figuring on the deadline being EDT.

UTC is a time zone - well, it can be treated as a time zone for online conversion purposes.

timeanddate.com is especially handy for converting - try here?

However, the simplest method may be to go to the AO3's challenge's profile, make sure you're logged in, and look at the time that displays in brackets next to the challenge time.

For me that reads,

Fri 16 Mar 2018 11:55PM UTC (12:55PM NZDT)

(and I mentally correct to 12:55PM *Saturday*, because NZDT is ahead of UTC.)

UTC is the time zone based on the prime meridian, which all the others are taken as differences from. Part of the reason I decided to give all the times in UTC is that I know different countries change their clocks at different times (and in different directions) around this time of year.

UTC is 4 hrs ahead of EDT, so the 2355 UTC deadline becomes 1955 EDT. The countdown link may be an easier way to figure it all out, though.
