As last year, [personal profile] raininshadows has kindly agreed to co-ordinate a spreadsheet collating information from participants who are open to receiving works in different formats to those covered by the freeform tags used for matching. In particular: podfics, vids and interactive fiction (IF).

Open to podfic? Yes

Podfic likes: Go with what you are enthusiastic about and I'll enjoy it, too. I know I like atmospheric podcasts a lot and I'm always for including music. Here even more than in the other formats, I'd be delighted to receive unusual formats of fiction (say, a podcast in form of characters' voice transmissions to another, captain's log, diary entries and so on.) I think something in the style of the podcaster being the narrator telling a story to some imagined listener could be fun, a kind of campfire storytelling thing? Or faux radio broadcasts/news reports for world building prompts.

Open to vids? Yes

Vid likes: Landscapes and buildings! Basically, I'm a sucker for everything pretty and I feel like something faux documentary could be fun, be it nature documentary or found footage. I also love these epic battles scenes. Bombastic music. Some in-universe video would be fun, like a propaganda vid, an advertisement or such.

Open to IF? Yes

IF likes: I really don't know enough to give likes. Don't worry about having to give too many choices. I love butterfly effects small decisions leading to big changes. I'm always open to all POVs, but here 2nd person is particularly fun. Snarky dialogue options. Basically, just something that I can run easily on my computer and I'll love it. I adore CYOA stories like Episode or Choices books, visual novels and text-based games.

I started out with full-fledged parser-based games, and I still like those, but recently I've been getting more into the CYOA-style Twine games. I always like the feeling that my choices really matter, that what I'm doing makes a material difference. I generally go for second person. I have most of the standard programs downloaded and will happily get another one if you provide a link, so it doesn't need to be Web-based, but that's certainly easiest.

Vid likes: I'm genuinely not sure what a "worldbuilding" vid would look like*, but if any of my prompts inspire you in that direction, go for it! For fanvids in general, I like interesting/surprising/amusing juxtapositions (either between one scene and the next or between what's happening and the music), and having fun with pacing (e.g. the cuts getting faster and faster towards the end before slowing down again). I am very broad-minded in my musical taste; I would much rather go with the music you think fits than have a vid shoehorned in to my favourite song if you're not feeling it. And to be honest, my "favourite song" is something which changes on about an hourly basis. That said, if you do want to know, the two places my music collection/Youtube playlist gravitates towards most strongly are British indie circa 1995-1997 (I hesitate to use the term "Britpop" but, yeah, basically Britpop) and female singer-songwriters from the last decade or so.

*not strictly true, because I do have one specific vid prompt, for SMAC: a Secret Project style video for an imaginary secret project, or even just one of the usual base facilities, would be awesome.

Open to IF? yes

IF likes: I am equally happy with both parser-based and CYOA IF. I'm happy for it to land anywhere on the various axes of "game" vs "simulation" vs "story"; I do enjoy puzzles, as long as they aren't insanely difficult to work out. On the more story-ish end, I do enjoy it when there isn't an obvious "good ending", or at least where it's left open to interpretation whether any particular ending is good or not. On the fanworks end, I do enjoy little details in how things are presented that call back to canon, if that makes sense (e.g. making the interface look like something in-universe), though I realise that's very tricky so it's very much an optional extra!

Podfic likes: I'm pretty open to anything. Just spoken words is cool, something incorporating music or sound effects is cool, something along the lines of in-universe meta (that purports to be audio in the world of the story itself, whether radio or report or whatever) is cool.

Open to vids? Yes

Vid likes: I don't have enough experience with vids as a medium to have developed a lot of likes and dislikes, so I'm pretty much open to anything! I believe 3 of my 4 fandoms have multiple film adaptations, and I'm open to material from any of those being included whether it's a version I've seen or not.

Open to IF? Yes

IF likes: I'm equally interested in and enjoy both parser-based and choice-based. I'm just not particularly good at parser-based, so please don't make it terribly difficult (and/or include a hint function)! :-)
Also, for choice-based IF, I'll soften my character death DNW: as long as one ending (that I can pretend is the "real" one) doesn't include non-canonical major character death, it can be included in the rest of the story.

The prompts that follow are off the top of my head (well, mostly copy-pasted from being off the top of my head last year) and definitely not comprehensive:
Flatland - two dimensions certainly lends itself to parser-based exploration. Perhaps something during the Colour Revolt?
Lord of the Rings - exploring some small part of a library, or an interactive calendar, solving puzzles to help a weaver go about her day to day tasks, a CYOA for Aragorn on his first day in Rohan
Oxford Time Travel - Considering how much ability the time-space continuum has to correct itself, it might be interesting to see how that relates to the choices characters make in a choice-based fic...which ones actually have an effect, which ones get corrected, which ones are actually part of the correction but they don't know it.
The Scarlet Pimpernel - something where you take the role of the SP and have to maneuver your rescuees out of France? This would be a possibility for either choice- or parser-based, I think...

Podfic likes: I've never written about podfic before; I'm sorry if this is a bit vague. In-universe audio recordings, of lectures or reports or hidden records could be cool. Music and/or sound effects are fine but I don't need them to enjoy.

Open to vids? Yes.

Vid likes: As with podfic, I've never written about vid before. Hopefully this is helpful anyway! Atmosphere, pretty images, editing that builds on parallels and/or tells a story. Or maybe, like above, video that's used in an educational context, or that's part of a report. Star Wars and Buffy both have video games, and you're welcome to use footage from those if there's any you can get.

Open to IF? Yes.

IF likes: My first time writing about IF, so I hope this is helpful! I've mostly played web-based and CYOA games, but I'm open to receiving something different if the program is small and easily accessible. It's been a while, so I'm afraid I'm not sure what to say other than that.

Star Wars and Buffy present time travel and alternate universes as part of canon, respectively, so they lend themselves to a "what-if" IF story very well. What if Buffy's life had turned out differently? What if Ahsoka had made a different choice in the World Between Worlds? Or maybe something that explores Shiuan after it's drowned, or an attempt to uncover exactly what was going on with that Escalus tree in Romeo x Juliet.
