[personal profile] raininshadows has once again kindly offered to co-ordinate a spreadsheet collating information from participants who are open to receiving works in different formats to those covered by the freeform tags used for matching. In particular: podfics, vids and interactive fiction (IF).

Please use the template below to indicate that you are such a participant, deleting sections if they're not needed.

Vid likes: Let's face it, I'm going to be fascinated and amazed and admiring if you create any sort of vid at all for any of my fandoms for this exchange. I hadn't even thought of vids for this exchange until I saw this post, and requests for three text based fandoms and a painting don't exactly sound attractive to vidders, but I'd certainly love it if someone could make it work. And you know, there's probably a surfeit of footage you could use for at least three of my fandoms. There must be lots of real world places (and lots of film sets) that correspond to parts of the descriptions in Invisible Cities (for a start, all the cities are in a way Venice), and pulp SF found its way in to film and tv as well as books and magazines, and between nature documentaries with undersea sections and countless movies and tv shows with various types of merpeople, you could probably manage the Rayyan painting too. I'm not so sure how you'd do any sort of worldbuilding with the 1001 Nights prompt, although obviously I'd be open to it if you can think of a way.

Open to IF? Yes

IF likes: IF is always, always welcome. I have far more experience with choice based than parser based games, but I'm open to either. I'm all mac though, so web based or works on a mac, please.

There are no instructions on what to do if you're open to vids on SOME fandoms but not OTHERS. So I have only listed the fandoms I want vids in.

Vid likes: Anything. My taste in songs is eclectic, but tends to things other than Top 40 hits. If you want to use a song from a musical, an old folk song, something from the early 20th Century, something weird and modern, I will probably find it interesting as long as the lyrics fit.

Vid likes: Jaunty music is always a plus. I also like cutting in things from a different context to give them a new reading in the vid's context, including using clips from other media entirely to construct a narrative or explanation for something. If the vid needs new dialogue, I'd rather have text than a not-from-canon voice-over.

Open to IF? Yes

IF likes: Most of my IF play has been with Choice of Games, so I'm most comfortable with that engine, but I'm happy to try parsing and Twine and so forth as well. (I only ask that if there are puzzles, there be a walkthrough available. I am very bad at puzzles.) I enjoy trying out a lot of variant short playthroughs of one scenario, or just being able to wander around and explore a built environment in something like Inform.

IF likes:I strongly prefer choice-based to parser-based! (I am spectacularly bad at parser games.)

Just in case, the tech I'll be using to play anything you make: I'm on a Mac and usually use Chrome, but I also have Firefox and Safari installed.

I'm fond of Choose Your Own Adventure (especially the ones with multiple "good" endings). And CYOA-style stories using chapters on AO3 are completely welcome!

I'm also intrigued by the idea of interactive in-universe meta, if you're so inclined!

IF likes: I started out with full-fledged parser-based games, and I still like those, but recently I've been getting more into the CYOA-style Twine games. I always like the feeling that my choices really matter, that what I'm doing makes a material difference. I generally go for second person. I have most of the standard programs downloaded and will happily get another one if you provide a link, so it doesn't need to be Web-based, but that's certainly easiest.
