Saiyuki
WB: Final tests for Sanzohood (Saiyuki), WB: Ancient Fantasy China (Saiyuki), WB: Magic powers (Saiyuki), Any or No Characters (Saiyuki), Genjo Sanzo (Saiyuki), Houmei (Saiyuki), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
In Koumyou's youth he was part of a class of eleven candidates for becoming Sanzo who were driven, hard-working and dedicated – and then there was him. His pupil Kouryuu straight out didn't want to be a sanzo at all and simply had it verbally thrust upon him.
What is it that makes a Sanzo-priest? Houmei had two years of intensive training to be worthy of the position, yet after holding the title for over twenty years he thinks there are no actual qualifications needed. In his final test for the disciples he considers worthy to follow him, Goudai says that every Sanzo steps over the body of his predecessor – there are three apparently perfectly healthy Sanzo-priests seen in Ibun. What has happened to them? Something dealing with the information we've been given would be fantastic!
DNWs:
graphic non-consensual sex;
characters as explicitly sexually active below the mid-teens;
explicit harm to children/child-like characters or animals (For Saiyuki, mentions of what other monks assume about Koumyou and Kouryuu is fine, but please have it be baseless. If Ukoku and the child!Kami-sama appear similarly please keep anything vague, even if not baseless);
Koumyou/Ukoku - I prefer them as friends or frenemies, as colleagues, with maybe Ukoku wanting something he'll never have, at most;
identity headcanons;
a/b/o;
modern day events such as Covid, modern day political events such as Brexit, etc;
terminal illnesses or cancer;
mundane-setting or modern day AUs or mundane/modern day settings for original works.

Any of the Schwarz characters in Rosenkreuz. What is Rosenkreuz? Possibly a story on Schwarz's training, the limitations the trainers consider that there are on psychic powersor their return there for some reason - to take it down, perhaps, as they canonically have very bad memories of the place.

I'd love something on 15th century takes on forensic science (or police equipment) - what exactly can Wang Zhi invent when he puts his mind to it? Or something about a day of hauling in petty criminals/bank robbers. And given how the show ends, maybe a zombie apocalypse and how the characters/the capital deal with it?

Yellowjackets (TV)
WB: Lottie's Clairvoyance (Yellowjackets TV), WB: The Symbol (Yellowjackets TV), WB: Taissa's Sleepwalking (Yellowjackets TV), WB: Drawings in Sammy's Room (Yellowjackets TV), WB: The Man with No Eyes (Yellowjackets TV), Any or No Characters (Yellowjackets TV), Lottie Matthews (Yellowjackets TV), Sammy Abara-Turner (Yellowjackets TV), Taissa Turner (Yellowjackets TV), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
General likes:
Childhood flashbacks and backstory; flashbacks and pre-canon backstory in general; slice of life; dreams and other ways to look into the characters' subconscious (I like when it gets very weird, but it also doesn't have to); dream logic; symbolism; parallels; character study; a character meeting their child self; "what if" AU and other kinds of canon divergent AUs; time travel AU in the context of getting a second chance to do something from the past differently (the "Peggy Sue" trope); a character saving their younger self from trauma; crossovers; dorkiness; characters having fun; children doing their own thing and not being controlled; humor; pop culture references (from tv more than from movies); future/post-canon; exploring canon mental illness and the process of healing from trauma; self-(re)discovery.
Additional fandom-specific likes:
Lottie's Clairvoyance - Is it a mental illness or is it supernatural? Or is it both? Were there any other clairvoyance events in Lottie's life pre-crash, before or after the car accident? Did her medication actually keep it at bay? Is she off her meds in the present (her parents are possibly out of the picture) and that's why the cult is coming back? Or has the cult been a thing the entire time?
Taissa's Sleepwalking - Is it a trauma reaction, a different type mental illness, or supernatural? (I'm personally in favor of the trauma explanation here, but I'm okay with others, like maybe Lottie causing or affecting it in some way?) I would love some exploration of the beginnings of the sleepwalking (we seem to have seen the first instances with eating dirt and then with the wolves, but were these actually the first instances?). How long had it lasted before it went away post-crash, and why did it come back 20+ years later - was it just the election or something more, maybe related to Lottie's cult?
Drawing in Sammy's Room - I would love a breakdown of what exactly they mean and what is depicted in them, either one of them or a few of them, or all of them if you're feeling really ambitious. Also are they even drawn by Sammy or by "bad" Taissa? And if they're Sammy's, does it mean that Taissa tells him stories when she's sleepwalking, or did he find some terrifying crash-related information some other way (other people, media, supernatural means)?
The Man with No Eyes - Is he real or not? (Or was he real at some point in the past and how he's dead or otherwise gone, but people keep seeing him as a hallucination?) Is it some sort of generational trauma that causes both Taissa and her grandmother to see/hallucinate him, and what would the trauma be? What exactly does he symbolize for Taissa and/or her family? Or does he have his own agenda and they're his targets? Is he even related to the plane crash at all?
The Symbol - What does it mean, what does it depict, what does it do (if anything)? How old is it? Why was it in the wilderness before the crash - who used it and for what purpose?
General dislikes (DNW):
Any romance; any sex; any kink; physical illness/sickness; someone being taken care of by another person (grooming, feeding, etc.); unresolved mind control or possession; possessiveness portrayed as positive; violating consent and freedom portrayed as positive when it's "not a big deal" or "for someone's own good", also in a non-sexual context, also when it applies to children (convincing someone to do things they don't like, "playfully" tickling when someone says no, intentionally limiting someone's choices, "grounding", etc.); parents' POV on a parent-child relationship; self-sacrifice and self-denial portrayed as positive; non-canon pregnancy and childbirth; AU that completely changes characters' backstories; persecutory delusions and delusions of reference (other symptoms of mental illnesses are not just okay, but very welcome).

Pre-Apocalypse Public Opinion on Becca and Her Inventions - It's always been my favorite thing about the entire show, and we got a lot of it in the last season, but I'd still love more. :D Anything about Becca being a celebrity, and what it entailed, would be amazing. Or anything about Callie idolizing her and/or about Bill having an interest in her. What did regular people really know about her inventions (other than "it's some fancy science and tech I don't understand")? What did they think? Did anyone suspect that her inventions might cause the end of the world?
A.L.I.E.'s AI Thought Processes - Just this, what and how exactly does she think? At any point(s) in canon.
The Flame - I'm especially interested in Becca and other early commanders "being" in The Flame and being treated like religious figures by later commanders, the actual truth about them gradually becoming distorted and disappearing. What does it feel like to access another "person" inside your head? I'm really fond of Madi's connection to Becca (and to the images in the Flame in general, since Madi has a very unique perspective thanks to knowing what it actually is), but anyone accessing anyone through the Flame would be great.
The Anomaly Stones - Who created them? Was is the Judge, or someone else entirely? Why are the Stones both a transportation device and a way to take the test? Are these functions related or unrelated? If someone else created the Stones, did they just accidentally discover/dial the sequence to reach The Judge and then muted this sequence so that no one does it again (since it's the symbols that make no sound, when you have a way to hear them)? And why is hearing the sounds the symbols make impossible for a regular human? Is "the Light" in any way related to City of Light? Did A.L.I.E. find the Stone and use some of its coding (or just the general idea) to create City of Light?
Transcendence - Anything to flesh out this concept would be amazing. Where does it originate? Did the Judge create it or just discovered it and used it? What does it mean exactly? Is there going to be a post-canon revolution because humans seem to be the first transcended race that really values individual opinions and free will, which seems to be something the Judge hasn't seen before? Are humans even the first race like that, or did others subdue this part of themselves in order to pass the test? How many races or individuals rejected the test and its entire concept, and how did it go? Is the Judge going to change their mind about making an entire race dependent on one person's decisions/very disproportionate punishment for not meeting their standards/punishing violence with more violence? Can they talk to Madi about it, and are they able to actually understand her point of view?
Additional fandom-specific dislikes (DNW):
The relationship between Clarke & Madi portrayed as healthy (not a DNW when portrayed as dysfunctional/kinda fucked up, but you can also just ignore this relationship altogether).
Any mentions of Aurora Blake.
The relationship between Bellamy & Octavia portrayed as healthy.

Additional fandom-specific likes:
Origins of Being Able to Do Magic and Being a Magician - Why are some people able to do magic and others are not? Why are some people able to do magic but still aren't magicians, like what George Bush seems to be canonically? (Is this just a form of hedge-witch discrimination? Could everyone be a magician?) We know that "magic comes from pain" and can in some ways be triggered by trauma, but this can't be the only criteria because it would imply there's some system that objectively measures people's traumas and decides which ones are the worst, and can also say that some people are just not traumatized enough to have magic. How much is the ability to do magic genetic? Can it come from strongly believing in magic as a child, like Quentin and Julia did? Any other source?
Horomancy - I just really, really love time travel and time manipulation, so everything would be awesome, from Jane's or Plum's time loops to anything with original characters that is not necessarily canon. If you can include my favorite time travel tropes from my general likes (Peggy Sue, meeting your child self, etc.), that would be even more amazing.
Timelines Other Than 40 or 23 - I would especially love something that focuses entirely on a timeline we have zero information about. But if you would rather write about one of the timelines we have some information about (36, 17), it would be awesome too. :)
New Fillory - Just what exactly is there? We know about naturally occurring pizza ovens, knife trees and bacon fields, and I'm loving this (and how it directly relates to who New Fillory's creators are), and I just really want to know more. :D I would also love to know what happens right after Margo pushes the button, or a bit later when they do create all the infrastructure from scratch.
Fairies - I'm very interested in the fairies' past, especially The Fairy Queen's childhood and the exodus to Fillory. I'm also interested in what happened between the 3rd and the 5th season (other than Margo's reputation being destroyed). Who was the queen in the meantime, if anyone? (I kinda hope it was Skye.) Is there a queen now? And why is the Dark King's army able to hunt fairies (even if they don't kill them, as far as we know) when The Fairy Queen's final deal should make it impossible?
Additional fandom-specific dislikes (DNW):
Permanent death for Quentin 40 (the DNW doesn't apply to Quentins from other timelines). If what you write about happens canonically after he died, like New Fillory, have him come back to life or just avoid mentioning him and I'll assume he came back to life. ;)
Eliot forgiving his father or other abusive family members.

My "persecutory delusions" DNW doesn't apply to Leah because she is objectively right, even if she doesn't know it for sure from her POV.
The Process of Choosing the Girls for the Experiment - Anything about this would be awesome, especially about the girls we haven't seen recruited on screen, especially about Martha and Toni (how was the trip even brought up and paid for without raising suspicions, since they're both poor and could never afford it? was Toni's family even involved or did Martha's family consent for both of them? was it maybe some kind of rigged contest they won?). Anything about the behind-the-scenes processes too! Were there other candidates and why did they end up not being chosen? What are the criteria in the first place, other than relative diversity? How does Gretchen manipulate the parents (other than Leah's) to get their consent? (In addition to Martha and Toni, I'm very curious about Shelby, since she said it would look good on her college application, but I'm having a hard time believing that her parents would agree to send her somewhere secular with a bunch of girls. Did Gretchen lie that it's a Christian camp, most likely a "corrective" one, and then the parents lied to Shelby?)
The Bunker Part of the Experiment - Since everyone behind the scenes already knows what happened on the island, what are the "scientific" reasons why the girls have to recount it in detail? Also, what are Shelby and Leah doing together exactly? Is Dot involved in it (she would be the one who could leave shellfish for Shelby)?
Dawn of Eve Locations and Facilities - What and where is the bunker (assuming the Peru thing was a lie)? Where is the island? Are they the same place (underground bunker?), or really close to each other, or both are just really close to the US coast? It makes more sense than Dawn of Eve getting to use really remote locations in different countries... or maybe they do exactly that, use some under-the-radar throwaway locations that the world forgot about?

Shelby forgiving her father or other abusive family members.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (TV)
WB: Background & Backstory (LoT), WB: Having the means to undo past mistakes (LoT), WB: Having the means to bring back loved ones (LoT), WB: living on a time ship (LoT), Zari Tomaz | Zari 1.0 (LoT), Nate Heywood (LoT), Gideon (LoT), Ray Palmer (LoT), Mick Rory (LoT), Leonard Snart (LoT), Fanfiction
I like to see the interaction between the crew as a whole. I enjoy Mick with any/all the crew; and I love the bromance between Ray and Nate. As for Gideon: she knows more than she's letting on—about everyone and everything, past, present, and future. And Snart: what if he did come back? I'm less interested here in how he'd return as in reactions and consequences. Feel free to include any of the other crew members, though if you use Sara/Ava, please do so only as a background pairing.
I prefer gen. I'm not asking you to ignore canon relationships; but please don't make them the focus of the story. DNW anything more than PG13. DNW soulmates, A/B/O, mpreg, wingfic, genderswap, kidfic. I prefer not to have main characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. DNW second person fic. Any other characters you want to include would be fine.

WB: the Rogues (The Flash (TV 2014)), WB: Metahumans (The Flash (TV 2014)), WB: Central City Police Department (The Flash (TV 2014)), WB: Background & Backstory (The Flash (TV 2014)), Hartley Rathaway (The Flash (TV 2014)), Barry Allen (The Flash (TV 2014)), Mick Rory (The Flash (TV 2014)), Leonard Snart (The Flash (TV 2014)), David Singh (The Flash (TV 2014)), Fanfiction
A series with a lot of unfulfilled potential. What was it like working for S.T.A.R. Labs before the explosion? What does the average cop think of superheroes? What is life like for metahumans who don't run afoul of the law? Were the Rogues ever formed (or will they be)?
I don't like anything more than PG13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. I prefer not to have characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. DNW AUs or crossovers. DNW first- or second-person fic. If you include both Hartley and Singh, please don't have them involved with one another. That's comics canon, but not in the TV show.

Forever Knight
WB: background and backstory (Forever Knight), WB: Vampire Physiology (Forever Knight), WB: Vachon's crew (Forever Knight), WB: carouches (Forever Knight), Screed (Forever Knight), Feliks Twist (Forever Knight), Natalie Lambert (Forever Knight), Javier Vachon (Forever Knight), Fanfiction
Given the focus on Nick as protagonist, secondary characters in FK tend to get short-changed. Although the series often references Natalie's attempts to find an acceptable blood substitute for Nick, we don't actually see much of her research. Vachon and his friends have centuries of history that were never touched on. For Screed, in particular, I'd be interested in seeing more about carouches. Or tell me more about Feliks Twist: a vampire who likes to garden.
If you want to include other characters from the series, that's fine. I like all three seasons equally. However, feel free to ignore "Last Knight" if you want. I've asked for fan fiction; however, I'd be equally happy with in-universe meta if you're writing about vampire physiology.
I prefer gen, and don't want anything more than PG-13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. I prefer not to have canon characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. DNW second-person fic, also first-person except for epistolary.

Ideally, something along the lines of a new episode—well, a single time trip and/or a bit back at the park. Your choice of time period, but I'd prefer something as-yet-unvisited.
Canon-compliant gen, please. DNW any pairing involving the requested characters. I prefer not to have canon characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. DNW first- or second-person fic. DNW screenplay or transcription formats.

General DNWs: permanent non-canonical major character death; character embarrassment as more than a passing mention; sexual content (for textual fanworks- kissing or fade to black is A-OK, but I'd prefer if nothing more than that happens "on screen"; for visual fanworks- put the cutoff at whatever would be considered appropriate conduct in public for the applicable time period.)
Art DNWs: neon color palettes, veiny arms
DNW exception: quarantines & epidemics are fine for this fandom

Marvel 616
WB: True Crime Media Involving Metas (Marvel 616), WB: Bureaucracy For Returning From The Dead (Marvel 616), Original Character(s) (Marvel 616), Any or No Characters (Marvel 616), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
DNWS: Non/dubcon, underage (under 18/under 18 sexual, under 18/adult anything).
True crime media? Is it an interview with an author? A panel with podcasters? A documentary on tv? Just has to involve, some way, a crime that could only be done with a metahuman.
There's a lot of angles to go at this - it could be reports from someone helping the resurrected (or from the viewpoint of the resurrected!) go through the process of reuniting with the world, was it an actual death or was it a clone (are THEY a clone?) or just lost in the Savage Land or what? What happens there? It could be a school report on the process. It could be a wikihow page.

DCU (Comics)
WB: Urban Legend Sites About Batman (DCU Comics), WB: True Crime Media With Metas (DCU Comics), Original Character(s) (DCU Comics), Any or No Characters (DCU Comics), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
DNWS: Non/dubcon, underage (under 18/under 18 sexual, under 18/adult anything).
At various points during the DC comics timeline Batman has been a figure that has no proof he exists. I'm asking for that period, not the ones where he's on tv doing interviews. I'd like to see batman creepypasta, a cracked list of batman 'facts', rumours, arguments on forum, anything like that.
True crime media? Is it an interview with an author? A panel with podcasters? A documentary on tv? Just has to involve, some way, a crime that could only be done with a metahuman.

WB: Origins of Ghost Pokemon (Pokemon MVGS), WB: Academic Debates Over New Pokemon Types (Pokemon MVGS), Any or No Characters (Pokemon MVGS), Original Character(s) (Pokemon MVGS), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
DNWS: Non/dubcon, underage (under 18/under 18 sexual, under 18/adult anything).
How does a pokemon become a ghost pokemon? What attracts them to an area? What IS a ghost? No need to provide an actual answer, just the process of exploring the answer.
How do you choose a new pokemon type? When did the pokemon professors go 'steel! That's a thing!' (given that the actual reason was game mechanics)? How bitter do the fights get?

86-エイティシックス- - 安里 アサト | 86 - Asato Asato
WB: Fall of San Magnolia (86), WB: Lena's Memoirs (86), WB: Para-RAID (86), Vladilena Milizé (86), Fanfiction
Likes: friendship, romance, fluff, slice of life, action, happy endings, bittersweet endings, unrequited love, travel, hurt/comfort, especially h/c in which a character is sick or injured and another takes care of them, and so on. I don't mind if things get dark or violent for the characters (and some of my requested canons deal a lot with violence and death, and references to canon character death is fine), but I prefer fics that end on a hopeful or happy note. I'm also good with crossovers between any of my requested canons.
Do Not Want: rape, dubcon and other forms of abuse, outright downer endings, infidelity, character/pairing/canon-bashing, AUs/alternate universes (this includes unrequested fusions), unrequested "fix-it" fics, unrequested crossovers, daddy/mommy-kink, second-person POV, genderswap, unrequested identity-themed headcanons (e.g. gender headcanons, asexual headcanons, etc.), or unrequested pairings.
* Vladilena Milizé: The kindhearted Bloody Reina - Lena is my favorite character in this series, and I love how she grows and matures throughout the story. Her role as Handler gives her a different perspective on the Legion War, one I'd love to see more of.
* WB: Fall of San Magnolia: We only see brief glimpses of the fall of San Magnolia and how Lena survived, so naturally I want to see more! What kind of Legion did she encounter? During the Legion onslaught, how did she find time to catch her breath and formulate an escape plan? When did she and Shiden first meet face-to-face? How did her first encounter with soldiers from Giad go? How does she write about the fall of San Magnolia in her memoirs?
* WB: Lena's Memoirs: Although brief, I enjoy any excepts we see of Lena's memoirs in the novels. When does she start planning her memoirs? Are there any sections she's initially hesitant to include? What does she write about Shin, Shiden, and the others? For this request, I'm okay with In-Universe Meta if you want to write an except of your own from her memoirs.
* WB: Para-RAID: As a communication tool, the Para-RAID is quite useful, but at the price of human experimentation. What suppressed information does Lena find concerning the origins of the Para-RAID? When Lena first became a Handler, what was her first time with the Para-RAID like? After Annette modifies the Para-RAID for her, how does resonating with so many people at once feel like?
Ships: Lena/Shin, Lena/Shiden
For this canon, if the plot calls for it, feel free to kill off any character except Lena or Frederica.

Code Vein (Video Game)
WB: Attendants of the Relics (Code Vein), WB: Cathedral of Sacred Blood (Code Vein), WB: Ruined City (Code Vein), Io (Code Vein), Fanfiction
Do Not Want: rape, dubcon and other forms of abuse, outright downer endings, non-canon character death, infidelity, character/pairing/canon-bashing, AUs/alternate universes (this includes unrequested fusions), unrequested "fix-it" fics, unrequested crossovers, daddy/mommy-kink, second-person POV, genderswap, unrequested identity-themed headcanons (e.g. gender headcanons, asexual headcanons, etc.), or unrequested pairings.
* Io: An amnesiac, mysterious girl - as Io searches for both her Successor and the meaning of her existence, she'll give a different perspective on the post-apocalyptic setting of Vein.
* WB: Attendants of the Relics: Even without her memories, Io is still drawn to her Successor, but meeting her clones disturbs her quite a bit. What other Attendants did she encounter on her search? If an Attendant frenzies, what kind of Lost do they become? Did she ever endure the brutal experiments Mido subjected other Attendants to? If she finds other Attendants' vestiges, what memories would they hold? What ichor skills might Attendants have that other Revenants don't?
* WB: Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: The Cathedral is rather unique, but also extremely frustrating to navigate. After learning of her "sister" Leda, does Io return to the Cathedral in hopes of learning more about Attendants like herself? What kind of spiritual or even religious significance might the Cathedral hold for Io? How did it come into being? Is it intentionally difficult to navigate as a way to protect the Successor of the Heart?
* WB: Ruined City: The ruined city looks to be the main hub of Vein, and Io likely spent a lot of time in the city searching for her Successor. What other Revenants might Io have encountered? Maybe she and her companions find abandoned labs and learn more about the experiments with the BOR parasite? Does Io find any remnants of the city before the Great Collapse? What about libraries and newspapers and other bits of history?
Ships: Io/Female Protagonist
Fandom-specific DNW: Male protagonist, crossovers with the God Eater series

神さまのいない日曜日 | Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi | Sunday Without God (Anime & Manga)
WB: Abandoned Places (Sunday Without God), WB: Post-canon Ostia (Sunday Without God), WB: Religion & Myths (Sunday Without God), Julie Sakuma Dmitriyevich (Sunday Without God), Fanfiction
* Julie Sakuma Dmitriyevich: Julie is the oldest of Ai's group and rather cynical compared to her, and since he was born before God supposedly abandoned the world, he'll have a different view of the world than Ai and the others.
* WB: Abandoned Places: In a dying world with no new births, more and more places will end up abandoned, so what kind of forgotten places do Julie, Ai, and others find? Maybe some of them might even be haunted? Do they find remnants like diaries and letters from before God's abandonment? Does Julie visit places of his past, now abandoned? Before he met Ai and the others, what ghost towns and cities did he pass by on his travels?
* WB: Post-canon Ostia: How goes the rebuilding of Ostia? The city's been trapped in an endless loop for fourteen years, so even though Julie and the others were only in that time loop briefly, what are the effects of suddenly being able to feel the flow of time again? Does the group decide to stay in Ostia? Julie might think of it as a good place to raise Celica, or he and the others might grow restless instead. How would such a city thrive in a dying world?
* WB: Religion & Myths: Since Julie was born before the world changed, he would know that there was no great proclamation when God supposedly abandoned the world, so he probably has a rather cynical view of religion. How have religious beliefs changed since that faithful day? How are miracles now perceived, with people's deepest wishes actually coming true? What about places of worship? What kinds of myths have sprung up about gravekeepers?

* Mylne: Mylne is an adorable young girl, and her natural curiosity can take her on adventures and help her learn about her world, and it'd also be great to see more of her day-to-day life in her forest home too. Also, cat ears are simply too cute.
* WB: Alchemy: What we see of alchemy is canon also has a touch of magic, and Mylne's grandfather describes their alchemy as alchemic sorcery. What kind of lessons does she have with her grandfather? How does her alchemy differ from the moonlings' alchemy? What kind of potions does she create for the other forest residents? Does she learn more about her mother's title of royal alchemic sorcerer?
* WB: The Forest: The Forest is quite the curious place, and it'll be great to see more of it through Mylne's eyes. We know of Mylne's apothecary shop and Mole's café, but what about other places in the forest? What do Mylne and the other forest residents think of the strange stone structure? Which forest residents is Mylne friendly with? What about forest residents she doesn't know as well? Does the forest receive visitors often?
* WB: World Outside the Forest: Or, what about places outside Mylne's forest? Has Mylne ever been outside her forest home? What questions might she ask the Bard or her grandfather about the world outside the forest? Are there any villages or cities nearly to trade with? Does Mylne ever learn more about the kingdom her mother was from? If she leaves the forest to travel, does she encounter other cat-eared people like herself?

* Yanase Mai: Of these sword-wielding maidens, Mai is my favorite. I love her big sister personality, and how perceptive and studious she is means she's definitely the type to seek out more information and knowledge about both toji and aradama.
* WB: Aradama Infusion Experiments: After the events of the anime, what kind of investigation might Mai launch into the aradama experiments? What shocking and creepy information would she find? What other kinds of body horror might a toji have manifested as a result of receiving aradama injections? Have there been any fatalities related to the experiments? Does Mai ever ask Sayaka about what she endured? What if said experiments were still ongoing in secret?
* WB: Toji Missions: What is an average toji mission like for Mai? What was her first mission like as a full-fledged toji? What kinds of aradama does she face most often? Even with utsushi, how common are injuries on a mission? What would happen if Mai failed to defeat an aradama and it managed to flee? How often does she have missions with toji from other schools? What kind of reports does she write after missions?
* WB: Toji Schooling: Or, what is an average day of school like for Mai? What is her toji training like? What about regular classes not related to her duties as a toji? What kind of electives are offered to toji like Mai? How much homework does she have to deal with? Does she share classes with any non-toji students? What are her teachers like? A WWI-era world in which women do the rational-style magic because men aren't very good at it! The Philosophers books are chock-full of fascinating worldbuilding, whether you're interested in how the magic works, how institutions around it work, how a society that has it works. It's also full of characters who are developed enough that you can see what interesting people they are but who only get so much time in the books. I'd love to have more about those characters and/or those ways things work, or see it, in diagrams or schematics or advertisements or illustrations.
Some things I'm especially interested in are the academia of sigilry and the R&D to develop new sigils or mature and make use of existing ones (at Radcliffe or one of the other mentioned institutions, in private enterprise, maybe in/around the Sigilry Corps or whatever follows it?); traditions that arise around a women-centered discipline (I'm soft for the sisterhood); what sigilry could look like in the future of the novels (how do hovering and transit interact with technologies like jet planes?). The novels center on flying, and I'm as equally interested in more of that as in one of the other sigils, whichever one takes your fancy!
I'd be equally happy with no characters, original characters or existing categories of characters, or some of those great women who have stories of their own. I've picked out a few favorites here: Edith Rubinski and the way she adapts hovering after she's shot down, Millen and her life in and after the Sigilry Corps, Sarah Stewart and how she finds a place for herself that suits her personality and strengths. For specific groups, I've listed Original Empirical Philosophy Scholars--a focus on someone's research or teaching would be really fun--and Cartogramancers--I asked for "Any" but as I write my prompts I could see potential for original ones as well; I'm interested in how the very different relationship cartogramancers have with materials and magic sheds light on how it works for everyone else who practices it (also, what if there was a non-male cartogramancer?)
I'd prefer a light touch with the darker aspects of the world; they're an important part of it, but the tone in the books when it addresses them is on the far end of what I'd like for this.

Tell me more about their lore and prescriptions in re: lawyers, the law, contracts, and having things written down about them. Tell me about daily life inside the clan, whether it's description/illustration of how they live communally or shenanigans carrying off livestock. Write me a study of Feegle names and how they're come by. Or tell me about/show me the places and universes they've gone to using the Crawstep! These are just some of the worldbuilding-ish things I could think of about them, but don't feel like you have to limit to just what I've listed; the Nac Mac Feegle are one of my favorite things in the Discworld.

WB: Weaver Aesthetics (Perdido Street Station), WB: Garuda Philosophy (Perdido Street Station), Any or No Characters (Perdido Street Station), Original Character(s) (Perdido Street Station), The Weaver (Perdido Street Station), Fanart, Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
This book had so many fascinating species and cultures and subcultures, and the Weavers and the Garuda are two of my favorites. It seems like the physical nature and geographical accidents of many of the groups has a strong influence on their cultures, which makes sense and are especially vivid in a world with all these inventive species.
I'd be interested to read more about how the Garuda live out in the desert, and especially about how they think and their worldview. I'm interested in the ways that they define things within their law that are different from how we do it, and from what principles and understanding of the nature of things those arise. I love the image of the nomadic library, and all the knowledge they value and preserve and bring with them and access.
I loved deciphering the utterances of the Weaver who was in the novel, and just had a lot of fun with this species that transcends and intersects our dimensions, and so interact with us in ways that are perplexing and feel arbitrary. I love that they're poet-artists, aesthetes, and that's the most important thing to them, and the worldweb is their art, unfortunate or fortunate as that can be for everyone else, considering how powerful they are (but their nature could bring weaknesses and vulnerabilities too).
Any art of either species and/or their works, stories about individuals or groups of them, or studies within or about their disciplines would be fascinating!

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Relaunch Novels
WB: Trill Symbiont Pools (DS9 Relaunch), WB: Andorian Reproductive Biology (DS9 Relaunch), Original Character(s) (DS9 Relaunch), Any or No Characters (DS9 Relaunch), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
I'm especially thinking of the Worlds of Deep Space Nine stories about Andor and Trill and the novels building up to these. I've read through The Never-Ending Sacrifice, but I don't mind spoilers (I've read Enigma Tales as well). If you draw from TV canon, I would prefer that it minimizes references to anything after Voyager.
Andorian reproductive biology: I remember being fascinated by the emotional dynamics when I read these books, and I still think about how it works physically and those interpersonal relationships within the bond. I'd be interested in something that looks at either aspect or how one influences the other, especially within a healthy adult relationship.
Although I am interested in the xeno biology, I'm less interested in the crisis in the species story covered by the books, so maybe something set before or after this point would be a good opportunity for some worldbuilding on how it works when it's working well.
(I'll have to admit, I'd love for an "obligatory four-person ships" AU to become a trope--or maybe it already is one? and you want to introduce me to it--and if you want to do a crossover in which your OT4 do relaunch-novel Andorian romance/sex, I'd be down for it.)
Trill symbiont pools: Giant, extremely old Trill symbionts, deep underwater in the caves? I think this is a dreamy concept, and I'd love to read more about life in that ecosystem. What's it like to visit, as a joined (or unjoined host) Trill? What's it like to be one of the Guardians? What do unjoined symbionts do all day, and what are their conscious lives and communications like? How does that change as you get deeper and deeper into the depths of the pools? What's the actual ecology of the pools, if you're interested in that?
Again, I'm less interested in the crisis in the society story told by the books and more in the everyday life in this fascinatingly alien, inventive glimpse of one of the familiar species allowed by the text medium.

Fandom-specific DNW exception: pregnancy and related complications; parent-child relationships and childrearing as focus--I know these can be big elements of reproductive biology; for this request, as long as a story isn't primarily about either of these things, especially either of these things going badly, and a meta isn't about either of these things going wrong (and the less human-like, the better!), it's fine to include them as the concerns of characters and aspects of their lives.

Star Trek: The Next Generation
WB: Riva’s Chorus (TNG), Any or No Characters (TNG), Original Character(s) (TNG), Fanfiction, In-Universe Meta
I recently watched "Loud as a Whisper", and suddenly wanted to know a lot more about these three people who have served as a nobleman's voice their whole lives. I have so many questions, and I see so much potential for exploration of them as individual characters and as a group of people who work very closely together and must know one another and Riva extremely well, given their role as telepathic interpreters, which the episode almost didn't really hint at but allowed plenty of room for. They don't give names in the episode, just descriptive epithets, and those epithets are about what their roles are in relation to Riva more than anything else, but also seem to represent their personalities.
Do they have names? Were they chosen because they demonstrated those personalities from very early on? Were their natures created and/or cultivated in their families specifically for Riva's use? Are "Scholar/Artist, Passion/Warrior, and Harmony/Wisdom" traditional roles, or specific to Riva? Were they allowed to say yes or no to serving Riva? How do they feel about it, about him, and about each other?
They don't seem to have any problem with their lot, but I'm fascinated by the moments when we see glimpses of them as individuals, when they address other characters directly, when Riva doesn't need one or more of them. But I'm equally fascinated by how closely they'd have to be in tune with one another. I'm also taken with the idea that Riva is so used to their being functionally a part of him that he needs them beyond as interpreters, which I think the "dates with Deanna" scenes hint at, but I'd love a take that goes further to explore the tensions and ambiguities and alienness of this triangular pyramid relationship.
Just how close are their empathic/telepathic connections, to Riva and to one another? How close are their relationships? Do they get time off? Are there backup interpreters on the homeworld? What was their training like/what was it like to be brought up like this? How do they live--they share quarters to some extent with Riva, but how closely? How do other people in their society view them? What are they each like when they're not speaking for Riva?
If you want to go into Riva's deafness and how his society views that, given that it's hereditary to the ruling dynasty, that would be fitting too, as a part of the exploration of the Chorus' role and dynamics.

Specifically for this request, the characters in question do canonically die onscreen, and I'd prefer something that takes place before this happens.

Additional fandom-specific likes:

Additional fandom-specific likes:

刀使ノ巫女 | Toji no Miko | Katana Maidens (Anime)
WB: Aradama Infusion Experiments (Katana Maidens), WB: Toji missions (Katana Maidens), WB: Toji Schooling (Katana Maidens), Yanase Mai (Katana Maidens), Fanfiction
Do Not Want: rape, dubcon and other forms of abuse, outright downer endings, non-canon character death, infidelity, character/pairing/canon-bashing, AUs/alternate universes (this includes unrequested fusions), unrequested "fix-it" fics, unrequested crossovers, daddy/mommy-kink, second-person POV, genderswap, unrequested identity-themed headcanons (e.g. gender headcanons, asexual headcanons, etc.), or unrequested pairings.
If she spends time in the school's library, what kinds of records and documents might she find?

I just love these little blue guys, especially en masse. They're so much fun! They're so joyful and collective and strong and not scared of anything. I love the mistakes humans make about them and the mistakes they make about humans, and the maybe muddled lore they have about themselves.

DNWs: politics and events of the last ten years; stories focused on natural disaster or apocalypse, genocide, social and civil unrest, epidemics; hopeless dystopias; vehicular accidents involving real-world vehicles; major illness (except for curable science-fictional/fantastical ones); deaths in the family; pregnancy and related complications, parent-child relationships and childrearing as focus; de-aging; intergenerational incest and underage relationships; nuclear explosions and radiation sickness; oil and acid burns; burned/burning bodies/body parts alive or dead; funerary rites, focus on grief over deaths; descriptions of clumpy things; the word 'ugh'; ageplay; daddy/mommy kink/issues; necrophilia
Art specific DNW that might apply here: lumpy things like clumps of mushrooms growing together, insect mounds, or the part of hive life in which lots of small round bodies are crawling around on top of each other
