In Koumyou's youth he was part of a class of eleven candidates for becoming Sanzo who were driven, hard-working and dedicated – and then there was him. His pupil Kouryuu straight out didn't want to be a sanzo at all and simply had it verbally thrust upon him.
What is it that makes a Sanzo-priest? Houmei had two years of intensive training to be worthy of the position, yet after holding the title for over twenty years he thinks there are no actual qualifications needed. In his final test for the disciples he considers worthy to follow him, Goudai says that every Sanzo steps over the body of his predecessor – there are three apparently perfectly healthy Sanzo-priests seen in Ibun. What has happened to them? Something dealing with the information we've been given would be fantastic!

* WB: Fall of San Magnolia: We only see brief glimpses of the fall of San Magnolia and how Lena survived, so naturally I want to see more! What kind of Legion did she encounter? During the Legion onslaught, how did she find time to catch her breath and formulate an escape plan? When did she and Shiden first meet face-to-face? How did her first encounter with soldiers from Giad go? How does she write about the fall of San Magnolia in her memoirs?
* WB: Lena's Memoirs: Although brief, I enjoy any excepts we see of Lena's memoirs in the novels. When does she start planning her memoirs? Are there any sections she's initially hesitant to include? What does she write about Shin, Shiden, and the others? For this request, I'm okay with In-Universe Meta if you want to write an except of your own from her memoirs.
* WB: Para-RAID: As a communication tool, the Para-RAID is quite useful, but at the price of human experimentation. What suppressed information does Lena find concerning the origins of the Para-RAID? When Lena first became a Handler, what was her first time with the Para-RAID like? After Annette modifies the Para-RAID for her, how does resonating with so many people at once feel like?

If an Attendant frenzies, what kind of Lost do they become? Did she ever endure the brutal experiments Mido subjected other Attendants to? If she finds other Attendants' vestiges, what memories would they hold? What ichor skills might Attendants have that other Revenants don't?
* WB: Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: The Cathedral is rather unique, but also extremely frustrating to navigate. After learning of her "sister" Leda, does Io return to the Cathedral in hopes of learning more about Attendants like herself? What kind of spiritual or even religious significance might the Cathedral hold for Io? How did it come into being? Is it intentionally difficult to navigate as a way to protect the Successor of the Heart?
* WB: Ruined City: The ruined city looks to be the main hub of Vein, and Io likely spent a lot of time in the city searching for her Successor. What other Revenants might Io have encountered? Maybe she and her companions find abandoned labs and learn more about the experiments with the BOR parasite? Does Io find any remnants of the city before the Great Collapse? What about libraries and newspapers and other bits of history?

* WB: Abandoned Places: In a dying world with no new births, more and more places will end up abandoned, so what kind of forgotten places do Julie, Ai, and others find? Maybe some of them might even be haunted? Do they find remnants like diaries and letters from before God's abandonment? Does Julie visit places of his past, now abandoned? Before he met Ai and the others, what ghost towns and cities did he pass by on his travels?
* WB: Post-canon Ostia: How goes the rebuilding of Ostia? The city's been trapped in an endless loop for fourteen years, so even though Julie and the others were only in that time loop briefly, what are the effects of suddenly being able to feel the flow of time again? Does the group decide to stay in Ostia? Julie might think of it as a good place to raise Celica, or he and the others might grow restless instead. How would such a city thrive in a dying world?
* WB: Religion & Myths: Since Julie was born before the world changed, he would know that there was no great proclamation when God supposedly abandoned the world, so he probably has a rather cynical view of religion. How have religious beliefs changed since that faithful day? How are miracles now perceived, with people's deepest wishes actually coming true? What about places of worship? What kinds of myths have sprung up about gravekeepers?

* WB: Alchemy: What we see of alchemy is canon also has a touch of magic, and Mylne's grandfather describes their alchemy as alchemic sorcery. What kind of lessons does she have with her grandfather? How does her alchemy differ from the moonlings' alchemy? What kind of potions does she create for the other forest residents? Does she learn more about her mother's title of royal alchemic sorcerer?
* WB: The Forest: The Forest is quite the curious place, and it'll be great to see more of it through Mylne's eyes. We know of Mylne's apothecary shop and Mole's café, but what about other places in the forest? What do Mylne and the other forest residents think of the strange stone structure? Which forest residents is Mylne friendly with? What about forest residents she doesn't know as well? Does the forest receive visitors often?
* WB: World Outside the Forest: Or, what about places outside Mylne's forest? Has Mylne ever been outside her forest home? What questions might she ask the Bard or her grandfather about the world outside the forest? Are there any villages or cities nearly to trade with? Does Mylne ever learn more about the kingdom her mother was from? If she leaves the forest to travel, does she encounter other cat-eared people like herself?

What other kinds of body horror might a toji have manifested as a result of receiving aradama injections? Have there been any fatalities related to the experiments? Does Mai ever ask Sayaka about what she endured? What if said experiments were still ongoing in secret?
* WB: Toji Missions: What is an average toji mission like for Mai? What was her first mission like as a full-fledged toji? What kinds of aradama does she face most often? Even with utsushi, how common are injuries on a mission? What would happen if Mai failed to defeat an aradama and it managed to flee? How often does she have missions with toji from other schools? What kind of reports does she write after missions?
* WB: Toji Schooling: Or, what is an average day of school like for Mai? What is her toji training like? What about regular classes not related to her duties as a toji? What kind of electives are offered to toji like Mai? How much homework does she have to deal with? Does she share classes with any non-toji students? What are her teachers like? How are the laws of succession written in a country where some big cat can just come in at any moment and say ”This one should be the king/queen.”? Is there an Aslan clause? If you want to write more of an actual story it would be interesting to hear about someone else raised to the throne by Aslan. Or not raised because of him choosing someone else. Maybe there is a mandatory waiting period before you can be crowned, just in case? Have there ever been non-human rulers? If they couldn’t be called king/queen, what were they officially? If you want to write meta you don’t have to include any characters at all, I just didn’t request ”Any or No Characters” here because I was not as interested in seeing this from a canon character’s point of view.

The disappearance of all members of the royal house at once must have left Narnia in chaos. How did they choose a new ruler? (This could be combined with the previous request, if you like.) How long did they wait for the Pevensies to return before even starting to think about it, much less do anything concrete? I’d be equally interested in a historical account of the main events of political and societal interest at this time, or a more personal narrative, maybe one of the courtiers searching in vain and refusing to give up hope (or sinking into despair).
When there were only a few humans in Narnia they married dryads and wood gods and creatures of that ilk. Were those the only acceptable options? And later on when there were more humans was it still ok to marry non-humans? Did anyone ever fall in love with a centaur, or a faun or even a talking beast (they are very much sapient after all)? And would such a relationship have been accepted or frowned upon or outright banned? Following the Telmarine conquest some dwarfs did marry humans, but was it common at any other time? And did they ever tell those humans the truth?

I have long been interested in the darker, or more grown up side of life in Rainbow Valley. If what’s in the animations is the edited, inoffensive, suitable for all ages content what are some things that are left out? Since ponies do have babies it wouldn’t make sense for them to be completely immortal, but can they die of old age, or only be killed or taken by illness? If they do grow old why don’t we see any elderly ponies? Do the actual adult ponies live somewhere else and we only see children and adolescents? Or is there a darker explanation? (And if there is a senior pony in some episode and I’ve completely forgotten them, I’m sorry. I’d still be interested to hear why there are none living with the main cast.)
What are pony myths like? Heroic tales of ponies long gone, or mythical creatures like pegacorns perhaps? Do they have gods, or any kind of a religion? If they die, do they believe in an afterlife? Their valley is already depicted as a very idyllic place, what could be better in their minds? How do they deal with death, dispose of the body, grieve? An interesting metaish thing could be an outside observer’s account of some pony ceremony.
Artwise, show me what a pony funeral looks like. Do they have any mourning accessories? If there’s a coffin, what does it look like? (If you haven’t been sure by now, yes, I am a goth. :D ) Or any religious ceremony they have. Is there an altar, or offerings? A Priestess? I find it harder to think how you could illustrate pony mythology ( mainly because many of their regular adventures would seem like a legendary tale to an outsider) but maybe something more symbolical? Or if it’s religious mythology, something you’d find in a temple; a statue or a stained glass window maybe? If there are elderly ponies somewhere, what do they look like? How do they live?
I would adore art in the style of the 80’s backcards, but the animated versions are naturally also great, as is your own style, whatever it may be. Please just don’t make them look like the later generations.

Basically what it says on the tin. :D Tell me about a craftsperson, or a politician, or an artist. Describe a day at the market, or a festival, or a trade negotiation. Did dragons actually disturb the goings on, or had the people been able to organise everything so that the city ran smoothly, no matter what they got in their heads to do? If you want to go into all the ways skill (and other magics?) were deployed, that would be great. But I’m equally interested in the mundane details of living amongst such wonders. :)
Being chosen by a dragon was a great honor and a privilege. You had to work for it. (Or did you always? Dragons are capricious creatures, one might just suddenly have taken a liking to a random human and you don’t really say no to a dragon…) Were there rituals for officially becoming an elderling? They must have had their own society, inside the general one. How welcoming was it? Did they give tips on managing your dragon, or support while undergoing changes? In the books we never really see the whole process of being shaped by a dragon from the point of view of someone who understands and actively wants what is happening. Did those people still feel frightened at times or was it pure elation? Was it customary for the dragon to consult the human, or did they just do whatever they liked?
Artwise, I’d love to see an elderling city in all its glory. Either from far away or focused on a street, a shop, a person going about their daily tasks. For the other tag, show me the dragon and their elderling bonding, or doing something together, or the changes happening. Or if you think there is some sort of a ceremony for being chosen, that could easily combine both my tags.

What is it that makes a Sanzo-priest? Houmei had two years of intensive training to be worthy of the position, yet after holding the title for over twenty years he thinks there are no actual qualifications needed. In his final test for the disciples he considers worthy to follow him, Goudai says that every Sanzo steps over the body of his predecessor – there are three apparently perfectly healthy Sanzo-priests seen in Ibun. What has happened to them? Something dealing with the information we've been given would be fantastic!

If you want to write more of an actual story it would be interesting to hear about someone else raised to the throne by Aslan. Or not raised because of him choosing someone else. Maybe there is a mandatory waiting period before you can be crowned, just in case? Have there ever been non-human rulers? If they couldn’t be called king/queen, what were they officially? If you want to write meta you don’t have to include any characters at all, I just didn’t request ”Any or No Characters” here because I was not as interested in seeing this from a canon character’s point of view.

And later on when there were more humans was it still ok to marry non-humans? Did anyone ever fall in love with a centaur, or a faun or even a talking beast (they are very much sapient after all)? And would such a relationship have been accepted or frowned upon or outright banned? Following the Telmarine conquest some dwarfs did marry humans, but was it common at any other time? And did they ever tell those humans the truth?

I have long been interested in the darker, or more grown up side of life in Rainbow Valley. If what’s in the animations is the edited, inoffensive, suitable for all ages content what are some things that are left out? Since ponies do have babies it wouldn’t make sense for them to be completely immortal, but can they die of old age, or only be killed or taken by illness? If they do grow old why don’t we see any elderly ponies? Do the actual adult ponies live somewhere else and we only see children and adolescents? Or is there a darker explanation? (And if there is a senior pony in some episode and I’ve completely forgotten them, I’m sorry. I’d still be interested to hear why there are none living with the main cast.)
What are pony myths like? Heroic tales of ponies long gone, or mythical creatures like pegacorns perhaps? Do they have gods, or any kind of a religion? If they die, do they believe in an afterlife? Their valley is already depicted as a very idyllic place, what could be better in their minds? How do they deal with death, dispose of the body, grieve? An interesting metaish thing could be an outside observer’s account of some pony ceremony.
Artwise, show me what a pony funeral looks like. Do they have any mourning accessories? If there’s a coffin, what does it look like? (If you haven’t been sure by now, yes, I am a goth. :D ) Or any religious ceremony they have. Is there an altar, or offerings? A Priestess? I find it harder to think how you could illustrate pony mythology ( mainly because many of their regular adventures would seem like a legendary tale to an outsider) but maybe something more symbolical? Or if it’s religious mythology, something you’d find in a temple; a statue or a stained glass window maybe? If there are elderly ponies somewhere, what do they look like? How do they live?
I would adore art in the style of the 80’s backcards, but the animated versions are naturally also great, as is your own style, whatever it may be. Please just don’t make them look like the later generations.

Basically what it says on the tin. :D Tell me about a craftsperson, or a politician, or an artist. Describe a day at the market, or a festival, or a trade negotiation. Did dragons actually disturb the goings on, or had the people been able to organise everything so that the city ran smoothly, no matter what they got in their heads to do? If you want to go into all the ways skill (and other magics?) were deployed, that would be great. But I’m equally interested in the mundane details of living amongst such wonders. :)
Being chosen by a dragon was a great honor and a privilege. You had to work for it. (Or did you always? Dragons are capricious creatures, one might just suddenly have taken a liking to a random human and you don’t really say no to a dragon…) Were there rituals for officially becoming an elderling? They must have had their own society, inside the general one. How welcoming was it? Did they give tips on managing your dragon, or support while undergoing changes? In the books we never really see the whole process of being shaped by a dragon from the point of view of someone who understands and actively wants what is happening. Did those people still feel frightened at times or was it pure elation? Was it customary for the dragon to consult the human, or did they just do whatever they liked?
Artwise, I’d love to see an elderling city in all its glory. Either from far away or focused on a street, a shop, a person going about their daily tasks. For the other tag, show me the dragon and their elderling bonding, or doing something together, or the changes happening. Or if you think there is some sort of a ceremony for being chosen, that could easily combine both my tags.
