Le città invisibili | Invisible Cities - Italo Calvino
The Fisherman and the Jinni (1001 Nights)
Original Work (Fantasy)
Original Work (Pulp SF)
Spanish Mackerel - Omar Rayyan

Open to vids? Not for this exchange
Open to IF? Yes
IF likes: I have far more experience with choice based than parser based games, but I'm open to either. I'm all mac though, so web based or works on a mac, please.
For Invisible Cities, I can immediately think of some possibilities for Euphemia, with its trade in memories: eg, normally in-game choices affect what happens in the future; how would it work if they reflect what you remember of the past? Or a story pieced together from many fragments of memories. Or something else entirely! But I would be equally interested in any of the other cities - and some of my prompts for inter-city trade or diplomacy would certainly seem to offer the possibility of creating an explorable world through IF.
The Fisherman and the Jinni and Original Work (Pulp SF) - some of my in-universe meta requests would work well as IF too: a selection of in-universe sources to explore could be fun.
Spanish Mackerel: maybe something could be done using IF to represent how an octopoid creature interprets the world?
But these are just suggestions off the top of my head: I find IF fascinating, so I'm pretty much guaranteed to love whatever you do, and if you want to do something I don't mention, the very fact I didn't think of it means I'll be interested to read it.

I'm honestly pretty open, though I'd be inclined more towards something choice-based rather than something parser-based!
I especially think that Doki Doki Literature Club would have some good IF potential, but if you made some IF for Homestuck or NDRV3 I'd definitely be interested!

I use a Mac, so I'd prefer something I can run on this computer. I would love either parser-based or choice-based - I have more experience with parser-based, but choice-based is certainly easier for everyone involved. All my canons this year are interactive fiction in some form (Homestuck is about an in-universe video game, Professor Layton is a real video game, Exalted is a tabletop RPG), so I think they could all lend themselves to IF if you wanted to!

Oxford Time Travel Universe - Connie Willis
The Scarlet Pimpernel - Baroness Orczy
Something I Must Do (Woot T-Shirt)
Star Wars Legends - All Media Types
Open to podfic? Yes
Podfic likes: I've only started to really discover podfic in this last year, and all I know is that I like it! I don't really have any specific likes...I mean, I like podfics that incorporate music or sound effects, but I also like podfics that don't...
Open to vids? Yes
Vid likes: Again, I don't have lengthy enough experience in this medium to have developed a lot of likes and dislikes, so I'm pretty much interested in anything!
Open to IF? Yes
IF likes: I'm equally interested in and enjoy both parser-based and choice-based. I'm just not particularly good at parser-based, so please don't make it terribly difficult (and/or include a hint function)! :-)
Also, for choice-based IF, I'll soften my character death DNW: as long as one ending (that I can pretend is the "real" one) doesn't include non-canonical major character death, it can be included in the rest of the story.
The prompts that follow are off the top of my head and definitely not comprehensive:
Flatland - two dimensions certainly lends itself to parser-based exploration. Perhaps something during the Colour Revolt?
Harry Potter - a choice-based adventure? Or exploring the Hogwarts library?
Kittens Game - this fandom already is IF, but I'm interested in the kitten literature that never gets explored much in the game. Maybe the compendiums are kept locked up and a lowly scholar wants to see what they contain...
Middle Earth - Again, either exploring some small part of a library, or maybe an interactive calendar.
Oxford Time Travel - Considering how much ability the time-space continuum has to correct itself, it might be interesting to see how that relates to the choices characters make in a choice-based fic...which ones actually have an effect, which ones get corrected, which ones are actually part of the correction but they don't know it.
The Scarlet Pimpernel - something where you take the role of the SP and have to maneuver your rescuees out of France? This would be a possibility for either choice- or parser-based, I think...
Something I Must Do - Further adventures of the brave explorer fishie! Or something back at Mission Control!
Star Wars Legends - Choice-based where the outcome is affected by how much people follow the rank hierarchy—showing initiative vs. obeying whoever's in charge? (Perhaps when Mara Jade has just joined Karrde's organization and is nowhere near in charge...)

Fandoms:
The Chrysalids - John Wyndham
The Invisible Library - Genevieve Cogman
The Man in the High Castle (TV)
Open to podfic? No
Open to vids? Yes (The Man in the High Castle)
Vid likes: I'm a fan of shorter vids with a clear narrative.
Open to IF? Yes (any fandom)
IF likes: I'm easy, as long as there's at least one happy-ending branch and any puzzles are not outrageously hard. Promptwise, for The Chrysalids, Michael and Rachel's journey to Zealand would translate well to CYOA. The Invisible Library might be a fun place to explore through a choice-type game as well. The only specific idea I have for The Man in the High Castle would be a Silent Age-like game where you have to bring things from one reality into another, but that would be a bit complex for the scope of this exchange!

Open to vids? Yes please!
Vid likes: I'm genuinely not sure what a "worldbuilding" vid would look like*, but if any of my prompts inspire you in that direction, go for it! For fanvids in general, I like interesting/surprising/amusing juxtapositions (either between one scene and the next or between what's happening and the music), and having fun with pacing (e.g. the cuts getting faster and faster towards the end before slowing down again). I am very broad-minded in my musical taste; I would much rather go with the music you think fits than have a vid shoehorned in to my favourite song if you're not feeling it. And to be honest, my "favourite song" is something which changes on about an hourly basis. That said, if you do want to know, the two places my music collection/Youtube playlist gravitates towards most strongly are British indie circa 1995-1997 (I hesitate to use the term "Britpop" but, yeah, basically Britpop) and female singer-songwriters from the last decade or so.
*not strictly true, because I do have one specific vid prompt, for SMAC: a Secret Project style video for an imaginary secret project, or even just one of the usual base facilities, would be awesome.
Open to IF? Yes please!
IF likes: I am equally happy with both parser-based and CYOA IF. I'm happy for it to land anywhere on the various axes of "game" vs "simulation" vs "story"; I do enjoy puzzles, as long as they aren't insanely difficult to work out. On the more story-ish end, I do enjoy it when there isn't an obvious "good ending", or at least where it's left open to interpretation whether any particular ending is good or not. On the fanworks end, I do enjoy little details in how things are presented that call back to canon, if that makes sense (e.g. making the interface look like something in-universe), though I realise that's very tricky so it's very much an optional extra!

Open to IF? Very much so. IF would be a neat way to explore worldbuilding concepts.
IF likes: Very easy to please here. Parser-based and choice-based are both great.
