Vid likes: Vids where the clips are tightly matched to the beat of the music and thematically matched to the words of the song. Incorporation of sound effects from the source into the vid can be great, but I usually find dialogue to be distracting.

I would love a specific type of podfic for my Belter Culture and Martian Culture requests, namely, "traditional" songs of these cultures, if you feel up to writing and performing them. I can see that 1k of lyrics might be tough, but I'm okay with a shorter text if it's performed. Or include ancillary information on the history of the song?

Podfic likes: I'm pretty open to anything. Just spoken words is cool, something incorporating music or sound effects is cool, something along the lines of in-universe meta (that purports to be audio in the world of the story itself, whether radio or report or whatever) is cool.
Open to vids? Yes!
Vid likes: I don't have enough experience with vids as a medium to have developed a lot of likes and dislikes, so I'm pretty much open to anything! For the two of my text-based fandoms that have movie adaptations, I'm open to material from any of those being included whether it's a version I've seen or not.
Open to IF? Yes!
IF likes: I'm equally interested in and enjoy both parser-based and choice-based. I'm just not particularly good at parser-based, so please don't make it terribly difficult (and/or include a hint function)! :-)
Also, for choice-based IF, I'll soften my character death DNW: as long as one ending (that I can pretend is the "real" one) doesn't include non-canonical major character death, it can be included in the rest of the story.

Podfic likes: I think you could do some really creative documentation and found audio in a worldbuilding context with podfic. Radio spots? News bulletins and official announcements? Lecture recordings? Anthropological recordings or interviews? Overheard conversation and communications? The more I think about it, the more excited I am about the idea.
Open to vids? sure!
Vid likes: I generally prefer lyric songvids more than background music with dialogue, but that said, there are examples of the latter that were very good. But video art of the sort you might see looped in a dark room in an art museum could be fascinating for worldbuilding as well, whether in media fandoms or non-media fandoms with other footage. Or ads or visitors' guide videos or educational videos!

IF likes: Alas, the end of Flash means the interactive version doesn't work anymore, but this seems like the perfect place to mention Paris: Invisible City (you can still see screenshots and download the text), which is a journey through a layered Paris in photographs, snippets, and networks, and which showed how no single view could take in the entire functioning city, but you could maybe experience what it is like by jumping around many views of all the inner and the outer workings. Here is a description/review of how the interactive photographic essay worked.

Vid likes: I'm not sure what a "worldbuilding" vid would look like, but if any of my prompts inspire you in that direction, go for it! For fanvids in general, I like interesting/surprising/amusing juxtapositions (either between one scene and the next or between what's happening and the music), and having fun with pacing (e.g. the cuts getting faster and faster towards the end before slowing down again). I am very broad-minded in my musical taste; I would much rather go with the music you think fits than have a vid shoehorned in to my favourite song if you're not feeling it. And to be honest, my "favourite song" is something which changes on about an hourly basis. That said, if you do want to know, the two places my music collection/Youtube playlist gravitates towards most strongly are British indie circa 1995-1997 (I hesitate to use the term "Britpop" but, yeah, basically Britpop) and female singer-songwriters from the last decade or so.

IF likes: I am equally happy with both parser-based and CYOA IF. I'm happy for it to land anywhere on the various axes of "game" vs "simulation" vs "story"; I do enjoy puzzles, as long as they aren't insanely difficult to work out. On the more story-ish end, I do enjoy it when there isn't an obvious "good ending", or at least where it's left open to interpretation whether any particular ending is good or not. On the fanworks end, I do enjoy little details in how things are presented that call back to canon, if that makes sense (e.g. making the interface look like something in-universe), though I realise that's very tricky so it's very much an optional extra!

Vid likes: I like AMV and lyricstuck style videos, but also "podcast" style meta videos with voiceover and images / illustrations. I like background art for amvs with a bold, distinctive, colorful style. Or black and white can also be ok. I haven't done enough video exchanges to have strong preferences. (I'd ask you please provide closed captions or a transcript).

IF likes: Choice and parser are both fine, although more used to choice so maybe keep the parser elements simple? I'm happy for it to be anything from an adventure, to vn, to an exploration of a place or an archive with snippets of old texts. I also like puzzles and puzzle games.
