As of this point, the tag set contains 208 fandoms, 1519 characters and 1270 worldbuilding tags.
I have rejected the few remaining "Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling" tags but have added them manually to Wizarding World.
As we move into the final stages, please consider following the (still entirely optional) guide to getting your nominations approved quickly to help keep things moving overall; many of you are doing so - much appreciated. Also, there will be no further nominations clarification posts; I will be making judgement calls as and when I get to tags. If you are nominating anything you think might be in danger of being rejected, please provide information as you do so by commenting here or via email.
Finally, Divine Cities has recently gained worldbuilding tags, but Dinotopia and Haikyuu!! should now be considered to be in severe danger of not making it into the final tag set.

Date: 2017-01-23 11:02 pm (UTC)I leave it up to you where you want to draw the line on whether that's acceptable - if it's helpful to your decision making, I see her as a potential element for worldbuilding the ways in which AOS does/doesn't diverge from TOS.

Date: 2017-01-23 11:07 pm (UTC)More seriously, I had in fact just approved it before I even saw this message, though I did umm and ahh a little first. The conclusion I came to was that that AOS's status as a branch of the main Trek timeline means that characters who are known to have been alive in the main Trek timeline before the point of divergence and not very obviously butterflied out of existence by it are implied to still exist in that timeline, whether they've actually appeared in the new canon or not.
(I didn't know that about her meeting Bones in the books. That's cool.)

Date: 2017-01-24 04:53 am (UTC)I did mention the situation in a clarifications post when Dragon Age AMT first appeared on the approvals screen (the first DA nominations I received were for Dragon Age (video games)), and only started approving the nominations as was after I'd had no response for some time, on the assumption that the nominators were nominating in those categories intentionally.
If you're still around, and still have spare slots or can find someone to trade, you're welcome to put in whatever tags you're interested in that currently exist in one of the more specific versions under the broader category of your choice. I really don't mind if there end up being multiple fandoms with very similar tag sets. But time is running out!
